About this team building
During this teambuilding exercise, the participants are dropped off at various locations. They must try to reach a central point. For each team there are a number of critical data missing such as a piece of a map, photographs, GPS coordinates, a piece of recorded film that another team has to describe to them, etc.
The participants are split up into two or more groups. The groups each travel their own route and each looks for their piece of information. Along the way, they will have to contact the other teams to collect input on the one hand, and to provide input themselves on the other hand. No team can function without cooperating with the other teams. The smoother this happens, the faster the final solution will be found.
The participants must ultimately succeed in finding one solution. The communication is done via mobile phone or walkie-talkie.
The Communication Dropping is a very good teambuilding because the groups have to work together towards one common goal. The contribution of each subgroup is essential to succeed at the end. Along the way, some team assignments can be done.
